Elizabeth Arden was one of the first women entrepreneurs of the 20th century. At every level, Miss Arden has shaken up the traditional codes of beauty. She is the first to partner with a chemist to imagine Venetian Cream Amoretta, a unique cream with a light and airy texture like whipped cream. After a trip to Paris, she democratized makeup that was still a social taboo in the United States.

Miss Arden also demonstrates an innate and modern sense of communication: the first advertisement for cosmetics broadcast in the cinema, newsletters with the latest news, weekly tutorials on the radio, spa kit at home with a 33 laps and, of course, the very famous red doors of her salons that served to differentiate it from her competitors.
